Network21 is a parent-run network of families with Down syndrome in Central New Jersey. We connect and support parents, caregivers, and individuals with Down syndrome. We identify and share resources that can better provide for the needs of individuals with Down syndrome in our community.
Membership in Network21 is free, and we encourage new families to join us! If you are a new or expectant parent of a child with Down syndrome, please see our New Parent Support page, and feel free to contact us at any time. We host regular Family Fun events that encourage, parents, siblings and children with Down syndrome to connect and have fun. Visit the Meetings page for more information on these events. Visit the NDSS website, the NDSC website, and The Arc's website today to learn more about the purpose and mission of these organizations and about their programs.
Network21 advocates for and supports organizations that promote acceptance of people with Down syndrome and other disabilities and work to better the lives of people with DS. We give generously to the Arc of Middlesex County and to the Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation, among others. We also participate annually in the Buddy Walk of South Plainfield, which is a major source of income for our organization. Network21 is a not for profit group, that uses any donations or proceeds to support families effected by Down syndrome, to promote community awareness, and facilitate research.
